Love the bag - count me in for your giveaway please. Happy E/day!
- If you could email me your address, I'll have your bag to you faster than you can say, "paper or plastic?"
Also, for those who plan on posting a Monday mini quilt, whether here or on flickr, feel free to email me a link and I'll include it in Monday's post.
I'll be back in this space on Monday with my Mini Quilt Monday contribution.
Have a lovely weekend!
Saw your compelling article on Quiet Quilts in current Quilting Arts (only sorry it wasn't longer with more pix). Total slap upside my head -- raced to fabric store --bought FQs to work with white or that had white backgrounds -- dashed home -- pawed through stash -- ran everything through washer -- ready to get started!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely on to something. I'd been struggling with a deep tone project for weeks -- realized I needed something .... quieter.
Thank you for the much needed inspiration...I think you are at the very front edge of a trend.
Oh, and I love your work, too! (Although I find I cannot sew my own Pesach tablecloths -- they have to be damask like my aunt's were -- must be similar to the need for the Truly Dreadful Manischewitz Wine!)
Also I enjoy the blog Layers of Meaning, thought you might, too. She doesn't post much lately but what's there is choice.
i always enjoy all the colors of your fabrics and projects. if you go to my blog you can see my finished "wheels of wonder" top (only) done with my hand dyes. since i sell most of what i dye but keep a piece here and there, these are fabrics i have dyed over 15 or so years. love the new "green" bags. still waiting for your book :-)
