I'm winding up my week of finishing and hope to be back tomorrow with one last completed project. I'm pushing hard to wrap things up because I'll be leaving town on Sunday for about 10 days. I'm going to a swim meet...in Israel. A mom's gotta watch her baby swim.

These are really nice. Oh, my. My son played a game of football in Japan a couple of years ago and I did not go. I will always wish I had. I am glad you are going to watch your baby. Good Luck to him!!!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting. Have a great time and take photos to share.
ReplyDeleteThese are terrific. I admire finishers--I once had a cartoon where the character said she was going to Finishing School, meaning completing some of her tasks. But I liked that the phrase we so often associate with manners turned on its head.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've been at Finishing School--have fun in Israel!

ReplyDeleteHave fun on your trip. Love your blog and your work. I have one question about your batiked fabrics. How do you remove the wax? Back in college when I tried batik, I used so much newspaper ironing out the wax that I felt guilty about the waste and never tried it again.
