So sorry. We lost our dog yesterday too and I didn't quite realize how much a part of the family he was until the tears wouldn't stop. I hope your family heals well.
This is so so so sad!!! I am so sorry! Have a look at my blog to see Dafi - I know, I think I know how you feel... And I am already scared... Hugs to you!
These photos are beautiful in showing a sense of who she was -- there's such a sweetness about her. May your heart heal quickly but your memories last forever.
We lost our 11 year dog last August and I am still heartsick. The good news is that the many memories are happy, loving ones. I think the Scout memorial on your blog here was a beautiful tribute to a cherished family member. My very deepest sympathies for you and your family.
Malka, I'm so sorry to hear about Scout. Losing a family member is always hard, no matter how many feet they have. I hope you can find some comfort in others' sympathies and your wonderful memories.
Oh man! This is a tough one. To lose a daarly loved furbaby is painful. My condolences, remember the good time and in time your heart will heal and the pain will go away. I know exactly how you feel.
Hi Malka...I know your heart is breaking. We lost our beloved Sophie (a Westie) last night. It's been a very sad day here. All the best to you and your family.
I am so, so sorry. What a sweet baby. We lost our beloved Zorro right before Christmas of last year, and it's so painful, even now. I'd love to say it gets better, or easier, or less painful, but it never will & it'll always leave a hole in your heart, but I'm sure Scout is in a better place now & you'll meet again in Rainbow Bridge someday & that's what you have to remember.
Dear Malka, I have just figured out how to get to your site....and I love that I can! Would that we could have our wonderful dogs live with us as long as we do, and stay exactly who they are the whole time. Steady, reliable, soft old friends who do not complain or ask us to listen to their woes...but are there for us to hug and love and have at the foot of the bed when we have ours. I miss several of those friends of our family, but have managed to have another soon after the one has gone...pound dogs all of them..wnom i like to think needed me and had a better life becuase of it....so to assugage my feelings that i got more out of it than they did. love the photos..esp the child in hug with dog...the essence of the relationship...sorry for your pain and loss...find it again.......i hope...
So sorry for your loss. Remember the good times.
