This morning while swimming I was thinking about all the bags, clothes, quilts and classroom example pieces I have looming as works in progress. I resolved then that the solution to this was to list my works in progress along with some kind of visual record. Then I could prioritize what needs to get done when and start whittling away at the list. So, I came home and made this:This is a mosaic of my current works in progress. Actually, I accidentally left at least one piece off. I hope that by tomorrow I will be able to remove at least two of these items and reconfigure the mosaic to include any other unfinished items. Currently, my works in progress list is(from left to right, top to bottom):
1. Summer clothes for myself, Abi and Rachel
2. Bag made out of felted sweater that I dyed with a shibori resist
3. Making the sample sewing projects for the classes I'm teaching this summer
4. Making a second challah cover like the one pictured for a customer
5. Sending off the Gryffindor hats I've made for the charmed knits KAL(at least I finished making them)
6. Chevron scarf
7. Bookbag for a friend
8. Ripple blanket for Abi's bed
9. (not pictured) Discharged/dyed circles quilt in progress
10. (not pictured) Bed quilt for Rachel
OK, I feel a little better. I'll see what my mosaic looks like tomorrow and organize it based on priority.

Admiral list. I'm very intrigued by teh felted, shibori'd sweater porse. Cool. I like the way the colors blend in your Chevron Scarf--it's what I was looking for in mine, but didn't get (not that I don't like the way mine is progressing).
Admirable. That's what I was trying to type. Admirable
Thanks Kristin. The chevron scarf was actually started by my eldest daughter. She's already made one in cooler colors and wanted a second in warm tones. She didn't seem to really be working on it, so I took it over. Technically, that means that it's not a project I started and haven't quite finished,so I don't have to feel guilty about that, right?
I was wondering how you made your works in progress mosaic. Any help would be appreciated as I think it is a great visual display of everything you are doing.
I made the mosaic with a program called corel draw. It allows me to create photo album pages. I basically drag and drop the photos directly into a template. I can choose from a varitey of templates. I then save the "mosaic" to my computer as a jpeg and then it's ready to upload. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much!! I tried a few things but had help from my 4 and 2 year old. This will make it easier.
